The Mayhem Ball Presale

A literal dream come true. Working with Verizon and Lady Gaga’s team, we collaborated prior to the Mayhem Ball Tour announcement to advertise a presale opportunity for little monsters to get tickets before they went on sale to the general public.
Inspired by the TV stacks and glitchy effects used in the promotion leading up to the release of Lady Gaga’s album “MAYHEM”, I researched CCTV and Data Moshing effects that were then created from scratch in base After Effects.
It was up in the air from the birth of this project to the final delivery if we would even be allowed to use any Lady Gaga themed assets. To counteract this contingency, I took the time to make all of the systems have the ability to take anything as input and tie it back into the visual world of Mayhem.
If anyone is not aware of Elijah lore, making Lady Gaga fan edits was a huge reason for my interest in motion graphics. To be able to create a piece even remotely connected to Mother Monster is a full-circle moment. :)
